Mayaboti’ by Arun Chowdhury and ‘Abbas’ by Saif Chandan, two films got censor clearance in a time when the Bangladesh film industry is suffering from cinema crisis.
‘Mayaboti’ got its clearance from the censor without any cuts. Actor Tisha has played the role of the protagonist in the film. Through this film she has stepped for the first time onto the big screen along with co-cast Yash Rohan who is popular for his role in ‘Shopnojal’.
According to director Arun Chowdhury, “The members of the Censor Board have praised our cinema. I extend my heartfelt gratitude and compliments to them along with all those who are concerned with ‘Mayaboti’. Those who have awaited the arrival of ‘Mayaboti’ will be able to see it I the cinema halls very soon.”
The director plans to release the film in September.
On the other hand, Saif Chandan’s film ‘Abbas’ got its censor clearance on Sunday. Nirob and Sohana Saba will be seen acting opposite to each other. Nirob has appeared in a totally different look in the film.
The story of the film revolves around a boy named Abbas and Sohana Saba has played the role of his lover. Shuchona Azad and Joyrazj have also acted in the film. Saif Chandan plans to release the film in the coming month.
