A truck driver was killed in a raod accident at Sapahar Notun hat intersection in Ishwardhi Upazila of Pabna on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sumon Ali, 28, son of Rojdar Ali Sheikh of Pashchim Lahinipara Village of Kumarkhali Upazila of Kushtia.
Police said a truck hit the Paddy-laden truck at Sahapur Natun Hat intersection, leaving the truck driver dead on the spot.
Officer-in-Charge of Iswardi Police Station Bahauddin Faruki said being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
The trucks were seized from the scene, the OC said.
