A trawler sank with passengers in the Meghna river of Munshiganj on Friday morning. Immediately, 45 people were rescued with the help of local people.
According to the trawler passengers, many passengers were still missing, though the number of passengers were unidentified.
However, witnesses said that there were about 70 to 75 passengers in the trawler.
They were going to Munshiganj district town from Gazaria to participate in primary teacher recruitment examination.
