A transgender man was allegedly choke to death at Radio colony area in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital on early Monday.
Meanwhile, Police have arrested two other transgender men for their alleged involvement with the incident. Jakaria Hossen, Inspector of Savar Model Police Station confirmed the matter to The Bangladesh Post on Monday noon.
The deceased was identified as Apon, 30. But detail identity of the deceased yet to be identified. The arrestees are Maisha and Mohammad Ali.
Jakaria Hossen said, "The incident took place around 3:00am on early Monday. On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
The body has several injury marks on neck and chest. Initially we got to know that, the arrestees went to the slain house as guests and choked him to death centering old feud, The body was sent to Shahid Suhrawardi Medical Collage hospital's morgue for autopsy. A case was filed in this connection with Savar Model Police Station, he added.
