Tin and cash were distributed among 50 fire and storm affected families in Sadar upazila on Sunday.
Asaduzzaman Noor, MP, distributed the tin bundles and cash in a function held at his house in the town this noon.
Each of the family got two bundles of tin and Taka six thousand in the function. Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Jesmine Nahar chaired the function.
Municipality mayor Dewan Kamal Ahmed, Upazila Parishad Chairman Shahid Mahmud, Upazila unit Awami League President Abujar Rahman and Secretary Wadud Rahman, City AL President Moshfiqul Islam Rinto and Upazila Project Implementation Officer Riazul Islam spoke, among others, in the function.
