National Film Award winning actor Shatabdi Wadud will be seen alongside Farhana Mili and Ashna Habib Bhabna in a new TV serial titled ‘Ghumanto Shohore’.
The drama serial will be aired on NTV from July 21.
Written by Matia Banu Shuku and directed by Nazrul Islam Raju, the shooting of the first lot of the drama has been completed recently.
Regarding the story of the drama, director Raju said, “I have tried to make this drama for all classes of viewers. The drama has brought out the stories of our daily life. Audience will connect themselves with the drama.”
While, Shatabdi Wadud said, “Raju Bhai is one of the talented directors of small screen. He is very cool-headed who knows how to bring out the best performance from the artistes.”
On the other hand, Mili stated, “Earlier, I have worked under the direction of Nazrul Islam Raju in the drama Made in Bangladesh. He directs his projects with lots of care. I am really satisfied with his work.”
Bhabna said, “I have portrayed a beauty parlour girl’s character in ‘Ghumanto Shohore’. This is completely a unique role for me. I really enjoyed this.”
Initially, this drama is set to air for 52 episodes.
