A colourful procession and discussion meeting were organised in Thakurgaon to mark National Productivity Day.
The procession was brought out by the District Commissioner’s Office from the Collectorate Square on Wednesday morning. The procession ended at the same point after parading main streets of the district town.
Officials from various government offices, as well as hundreds of students from the district took part in the procession.
Later, a discussion meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner's Conference Room.
Thakurgaon Deputy Commissioner Dr KM Kamruzzaman Selim, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nur Kutubul Alam, Thakurgaon Press Club President Mansur Ali, were also present.
