Tauqir Ahmed is a renowned actor and director. He has been connected with the media industry for decades. Throughout his career he has been part of multiple dramas, telefilms and films. He also has directed the film ‘Halda’ released in 2017. Now he has started working in a new series drama titled ‘Ishtikutum’.
The drama series has been written by Jakir Hossain Ujjal and directed by Al Harun. Regarding the drama, the director said, “I have tried to bring forth various social inconsistencies through satire in the drama. I believe that the 104 episode drama will gain much praise by the audience.”
The story of the drama series revolves around three brothers Miachan Bepari, Molayem Bepari and Makhmal Bepari of Bepari Para in Kusumpur village. The relationship between their three brothers is very good. But after the death of Miyachan Bepari, three families get separated. Incidentally Makhmal Bepari stood for chairman election. Miyachan’s wife, Hajera Begum, and her only son, Manik Chand, have been reprimanded. Both were defeated. The conflict between the uncle and nephew begins. Such a story has been created with the new serial drama ‘Istikutum’.
In this, Tauqir Ahmed will be seen as Manik Chand. In addition to various roles will be played by Dr Ijaz, Nazira Mou, Romana Sharna and many more. The drama, will be aired on Ekushey TV every Saturday to Monday from 8:30pm.
