Former Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has big ambitions at Atletico Madrid, report agencies.
The 33-year-old arrives at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano after six hugely successful years at Barcelona, but he's hungry for more.
"The first thing that came into my head was: 'Leave me a space here - I want to make history,'" Suarez told Atletico's official media.
"I'm coming to bring a bit more to what this team has - my bit, whether it's goals or assists.
"More than anything else, I've come to win trophies here." Suarez is also keen to work under Diego Simeone.
"It's a pleasure," the striker added. "I hope to learn a lot from him. He always tells you things to improve on." Suarez is the latest Uruguayan to play for Atletico after greats such as Diego Forlan and Diego Godin.
"All the Uruguayans have done very well at Atletico," he said. "I hope that I'm not an exception."
