An important road has been repaired at Dhamairhat in Naogaon by volunteers. Students from various educational institutions of the local self-proclaimed Chiri Par Youth Society took part in the road repair work. This important road has been repaired and the locals have been spared from suffering.

It is learned that Mangalbari-Sahapur is an important road of Jahanpur union of the upazila. There is a market in Bikandakhas area of this road.

Hundreds of people buy and sell daily necessities in this market every day. At the entrance of Bikandakhas Bazar from Sonarpara village, about 60-70 feet of road became muddy and the suffering of the people reached its peak.

Due to prolonged heavy rains, the situation became more complex. In order to alleviate the sufferings of the people, bricks and sand were laid on the road at the initiative of the youth society of Chiri Par, a local social work organization.

In this regard, the president of the youth society of Chiripar Ababil said, “The road is about 60 feet long and 15 feet wide and it was muddy for a long time and our organization has repaired the road with bricks and sand.

Mabud Hossain, general secretary of the youth society of Chiri Par, Russell, Firoz, Habib, Tafsi and 10-12 others helped in this work. In addition, during the current monsoon season, our organization has repaired the road in front of the Kazimakhna Mosque in Bhatkundu and Isabpur Union.”

LGED Dhamairhat Upazila Engineer Ali Hossain said, “it was not possible for the government to repair or renovate all the roads at once.

The work done by the youth of Chiri Par is undoubtedly commendable and exemplary. If all of them were to advance the welfare of the country in their own interest, there would be no problem in building a real golden Bangla.”
