Speakers at a discussion meeting on Wednesday called for infusing the ideology of Bangabandhu into the new generation’s minds saying Bangabandhu had made his best efforts to rebuild the war-ravaged country and ensured development in the quickest possible time, reports BSS.
During the time, they said, the people had realised the sincere and pragmatic steps of the Father of the Nation had taken soon after independence in 1971.
They made the call at the discussion named “Bangabandhu in Bengali Literature’ held at the auditorium of the Jatiya Press Club(JPC), organized by Bangabandhu Shahitya Parishad (BSP). One of the main Patrons of BSP and Awami League Advisory Council Member Mozaffar Hossain Poltu, former Dhaka University (DU) Vice Chancellor Dr A A M S Arefin Siddique, DU Professor Nirojjon Adhikari and Bangladesh Betar Television Shilpi Sangstha President Dr Enamul Haque addressed the discussion. They also said Bangabandhu was no more but his ideals, courage, political wisdom, patriotism and love for general masses would inspire generations after generations to be patriotic and hard working.
