A new Spider-Man: No Way Home fan poster imagines all three versions of Spider-Man facing the Sinister Six, including Vulture and Mysterio.

Mysterio and Vulture return in a new fan poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home. When Sony decided to reboot Spider-Man again and introduce him to the MCU, Michael Keaton’s Vulture was chosen as the main villain.

After being brought back from the dead and helping defeat Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, Peter Parker would next go up against Quentin Beck (Mysterio), played by Jake Gyllenhaal. Vulture went to prison at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Mysterio seemingly died in Spider-Man: Far From Home, but not before revealing Parker’s identity to the world.

Neither Mysterio nor Vulture have been confirmed for Spider-Man: No Way Home just yet. However, the third film in Jon Watts’ Spider-Man trilogy will be packing in plenty of villains for the famous webslinger to battle. Jamie Foxx’s Electro was the first villain confirmed to return in the sequel, soon followed by Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2.

Marketing for the movie also seemed to hint at Sandman playing a role in the film, and this was recently confirmed when Sony dropped the second trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe) and the Lizard (Rhys Ifans) were also prominently featured in the trailer. Despite a lot of excitement for three iterations of Spider-Man movies being tied together, many are still wondering if MCU Spider-Man villains could make an appearance.

Digital artist mahj_art recently created a poster featuring Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man characters going up against the Sinister Six. The poster predominately features Doc Ock while also including Mysterio, the Lizard, Electro, Green Goblin, and Vulture.

Sony had set up a Sinister Six movie during Garfield’s iteration of Spider-Man, but the plans were scrapped after the poor reception to The Amazing Spider-Man 2. While that paved the way for Holland’s introduction as Spidey, the studio left fans wanting a Sinister Six battle. Spider-Man: No Way Home seems to finally be delivering, yet only five villains have been confirmed so far.

This means that Sony and Disney could be keeping the final member of the Sinister Six a secret until the film is released. After two solo outings from Holland and Sony connecting Venom and Morbius to the MCU, there are plenty of characters that could fill the team’s final spot.

With all of the confirmed villains coming from Raimi and Marc Webb’s movies, it’s very possible that if Spider-Man: No Way Home does have a secret character, it could be an MCU villain or even a fresh addition to the franchise. On top of that, Maguire and Garfield haven’t been officially cast in the sequel. Spider-Man: No Way Home has revealed a lot in its marketing so far, which means these questions may not be answered until the movie hits theaters. Even if the film doesn’t have a secret villain waiting for audiences, Spidey is still going to have his hands full come December.
