As many as 19 police officers, including the Commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP), were transferred on Thursday in a latest reshuffle in the city’s law enforcement agency. Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Md NisharulArif has been made the new commissioner of SMP.
A notification was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs in this regard.
