Sholakia militant case deferred further

The deposition of sensational militant attack case at Sholakia Eidgah at Kishoreganj has been deferred further.

According to sources, the date of deposition of Sholakia Eidgah militant attack case was fixed on Sunday last but the judge of the case remained on leave, the date was deferred for the sixth time.  The deposition of the case was supposed to be held at the court of Mohammad Abdur Rahim, Additional Session Judge of Kishoreganj and Judge of Special Tribunal-2.

Two accused of the case Anowar Hossain and Tamim appeared at the court while three other accused of the case, who are confined in various prisons in a number of cases, could not be produced before the court on Sunday.

It is learnt, the militants attacked a check post with guns and sharp weapons near Mufti Mohammad Ali Juma Mosque  during checking in the morning before holding the prayer of Eid-ul-Fitre on July-7, 2016 killing two police constables Ansarul Haque and Jahirul Islam, house wife Jharna Rani Bhoumik and militant Abir Hossain on the spot.
