Shelter house project inaugurated in Barishal

On the occasion of Mujib Centenary, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's gift of land and shelter for the homeless in the fourth phase of the construction of 34 houses on the banks of the river in Babuganj for the gypsy community has been inaugurated. On Thursday morning, the construction work of the house was started in a large area adjacent to the old ferry wharf in Rahmatpur union of Babuganj upazila. Babuganj Upazila Executive Officer Nusrat Fatima inaugurated the house construction work.

Babuganj Upazila Awami League General Secretary and Rahmatpur Union Parishad Chairman Mridha Muhammad Akhter Uz Zaman Milon, Babuganj Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Subrata Biswas Das, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Md. Nasir Uddin, Jahangir Nagar Union Parishad Chairman Md. Kamrul Ahsan Khan Himu were present. , President of Babuganj Upazila Press Club Zahirul Hasan Arun, General Secretary Arif Hossain, Senior Journalist Abdullah Al Mamun, Journalist Rafiqul Islam, Al-Amin, local UP member Mohnayan, Bilkis Jahan, businessman Saiful Islam and other locals. Each house with sanitation system will be constructed at a cost of 2 lakh 59 thousand Tk.
