Sheikh Hasina taking stern action against corruption: Indira

State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatunnesa Indira on Saturday said, “The Awami League government headed by Sheikh Hasina has taken strict measures to uproot corruption from the country”, reports BSS. “PM is taking stern action against corrupt intruders. This time the corrupt will be wiped out. Before that, the government had eliminated BNP-Jamaat militancy with a strong hand….., “she said. She said this while speaking as the chief guest at a seminar titled- “Sheikh Hasina at unparalleled height of global leadership” at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity.

On the occasion of the 73rd birthday of Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Bangabandhu Education and Research Parishad organized this seminar. After returning from six years in exile from India Sheikh Hasina started her movements for restoring democracy and voting rights for the deprived Bengali people, Indira added. President of Bangabandhu Education and Research Parishad and former VC of Dhaka University AAMS Arefin Siddique presided over the meeting while Advocate Abdul Baset Majumder was present as special guest. Professor Sirajul Haque Alo presented the key-note paper “Sheikh Hasina at unparalleled height of global leadership”.
