Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek said, "BNP is trying to mislead the people of the country by spreading rumors of reserve crisis, showing temporary power crisis, creating rumors in various ways to question the development works of Sheikh Hasina government. But BNP has forgotten, Sheikh Hasina is standing as strong as the Himalayas, the Himalayas cannot be moved by pushing, it is not possible.

Sheikh Hasina is in power by being honest, working for the people, and winning the hearts of the common people. The love of the common people has made Sheikh Hasina as strong as the Himalayas. It is not possible for BNP to destroy the love of Sheikh Hasina from the hearts of the people.” Health Minister Zahid Malek, MP, said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the '8th International Homeopathy Science Conference-2022' organized by the Center for Advanced Studies in Homeopathy (Cash) at the Kakrailast IDEB conference room in the capital today. In the conference, the health minister criticized BNP and said, "BNP is spreading false propaganda that the country's reserves have been exhausted, misleading people. The real truth is that during the BNP era, Bangladesh's reserves were only 3 billion dollars. And at the moment, even after the worldwide corona crisis, Bangladesh has a reserve of 35 billion dollars. During the period of BNP, there was occasional electricity. During the period of BNP, only 4 thousand megawatts of electricity was produced. And now, during Sheikh Hasina's tenure, 24,000 megawatts of electricity is being produced in the country. Due to the Ukraine-war, there has been a temporary power problem in Bangladesh along with the whole world. However, electricity is hundreds of times better than BNP. There is no shortage of food in the country. 5 million tons of food has been stored in the country. There is no food crisis in the country, the country's trade and commerce is turning around, thousands of young people of digital Bangladesh are working and reducing unemployment. Bangladesh is now moving towards a self-sufficient position by making hundreds of developments including Padma Bridge and Metrorail. But BNP does not see anything good in Bangladesh."

In the meeting, the Health Minister highly praised the homeopathy treatment system. He called for more research and increased budget in homeo treatment. He also said to gradually appoint homeo doctors in all hospitals of the country. The health minister said in this context, "There are no side effects in homeo treatment. The demand for homeopathy is increasing worldwide. Demand is also increasing in Bangladesh. For this reason, along with allopathic treatment, homeo treatment is being strengthened in the country."
