Seven killed as autorickshaw collide with bus at Tarakanda

Seven persons including a child were killed and two others injured when a CNG-driven autorickshaw collided head-on with a running bus of Shahjalal Paribahan on Mymensingh-Netrokona road at Gachpara Bazaar area of Tarakanda of Mymensingh on Sunday ( Jan-3) noon. The identities of the dead and the injured persons could not be confirmed immediately. 

Abul Khayer, Officer-in-charge of Tarakanda Police station informed, at noon a Netrakone to Dhaka bound bus belonged to Shahjalal Paribahan collided head on with a Natrakona bound CNG-fueled autorickshaw killing seven persons on the spot. Among deads three are males, three females and one is a child. 

He further said, the rescue operation was continuing and he dead and injured persons will be sent to the hospital. Legal action will also be taken in this connection.
