A service camp was constructed at the police station for the benefit of the service candidates at Kotwali Police Station.
Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Commissioner Md. Mahabubar Rahman inaugurated the camp on Monday.
Later, the CMP Commissioner visited the Officer's Corner at the police station.
CCC panel Mayor Chowdhury Hasan Mahmood Hasani, EC Committee Chairman of UCB Bank Anisuzzaman Chowdhury Rony, CMP Additional Commissioner (Traffic) SM Mostak Ahmed Khan, and Deputy Commissioner (Sadar) Amir Zafar were present at the time.
Later, a rally was organized at the police station.
CMP Commissioner said, “We want the police station work for the public. We want to ensure best service for the common people so that they can come to the police station without interruption. We want to create a beautiful environment in the police station. The people coming to the police station will be benefited from the service camp.” CMP Additional Deputy Commissioner (South) Shah Muhammad Abdur Rauf, Senior Assistant Commissioner (Kotwali Zone) Noble Chakma and OC Mohammad Mohsin were present on the occasion.
