Scout member to cross 150-km on foot for award

Member of Chittagong University Rover Scout Group, Habibur Rahman is going to travel on foot 150 km from Chittagong to Cox's Bazar from February 1-5 to receive the 'Travel Batch' and win the President's Rover Scout Award.

For this, Habibur Rahman met the Vice-chancellor of Chittagong University Prof Dr Shirin Akhtar at her office room on Tuesday afternoon. CU Girl in Rover Scout Leader CU Islam's History and Culture Department Assistant Professor Sultana Sukanya Bashar and members of the Rover Scout were present during this time.

CU VC expressed well wishes to Rover scout member Habibur Rahman for his brave move and prayed the trip would be done in a healthy, beautiful and safe manner.

It is notable that during the journey, he will carry out various activities including giving the public knowledge about information technology, raising awareness about climate change, preventing road accidents, notifying the scout movement, moral values and speaking to the public against corruption.
