SCI Int’l Hospital offers IVF, Male Infertility, Orthopedics treatment

Indian renowned SCI International Hospital based in New Delhi, has been rendering highly advanced and affordable medical treatment of In vitro fertilization (IVF), male infertility, urology, orthopedics and ENT to patients from all over the world including Bangladesh. 

Recently the hospital made the disclosure at a discussion titled “Health Talk” held at Sinha lounge of Dhaka Club at Ramna in the capital organized in association with Rotary Club of Eskaton Dhaka.

The key speakers at the event were Dr Vishal Dutt Gour, Dr Shivani Sachdev Gour, Dr Gautam Banga, Dr Shomeshwar Sing and Dr Vinay Aggarwal. They discussed various health topics that include male infertility, infertility current trends, reconstructive urology and importance of early intervention in hearing impairment and sports injuries and arthritis at the programme. 

In his speech regarding the event, Dr Vishal Dutt Gour said, ‘’This discussion is going to be beneficiary for the patients who are suffering from those diseases. We are dedicated to providing high-quality health care to the patients and create awareness among them about these health issues. Our aim is to serve safe treatments for the patients at a low cost compared to other developed countries.”

One of the key topics was male infertility and the current trend of having a baby through IVF. In vitro fertilization (IVF), is a technique used to help a woman get pregnant. It is when a human egg is fertilized with sperm in a laboratory. While talking about IVF,’ Dr Shivani said that over 12 million babies were born through IVF from its beginning. It is the blessing of technology that everyone can have a baby now. The number of infertility clinics is increasing rapidly and technology is being updated every moment. SCI hospital has all the advanced  equipments for this and we have patients all over the world with a positive image.” 

When asked about the social taboo and cost of the IVF process, the doctors said that many Bollywood stars, high profile peoples are having test-tube babies. It is creating a positive impact on society and SCI hospital is doing many activities to promote IVF. The key is education if we can give proper education then it will no longer be a taboo. And it is affordable for all classes of people.”

In SCI hospital the cost of having a baby through IVF starts at USD 2,500 to a maximum of USD 4,000. Dr Vishal Dutt Gour, founder of SCI hospital, said, “We want to operate in Bangladesh but there are some technical and legal issues for operating in this country but we are working on it.”

In the event, Dr Shomeshwar Shing spoke about hearing problems while Dr Vinay Aggarwal talked on sports injuries and Dr Gautam Banga highlighted on reconstructive urology surgery.
