Counselor of Russian Embassy and Director of Russian Centre for Science & Culture in Dhaka Maxim Dobrokhotov called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman on Monday, reports BSS.
During the meeting at the VC’s office on DU campus, they discussed thepossibilities of strengthening ongoing joint collaborative academic and research programs conducted by the University of Dhaka and different universities in Russia.
They exchanged views regarding expansion and development of Russian language course at the Institute of Modern Languages (IML) of DU. The diplomat expressed his willingness to provide teachers from Russia to teach Russian language course at the Institute of Modern Languages.
Akhtaruzzaman thanked the guest for his visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic activities.
