An emergency relief programme for the physically challenged and the destitute in the Covid-19 situation was held at the organization's head office in Gaurighona Bazar of Jashore’s Keshabpur on Thursday.
The programme was held with the implementation of the Bonoful Foundation in Keshabpur and with the funding of the Association for Land Reform and Development. Nurul Islam, Executive Director of Bonoful Foundation presided over the event while SR Saeed, President of Keshabpur Upazila Press Club distributed the aid as the chief guest.
At the time 40 families of destitute and disabled got 10 kg of rice, 2 kg of pulses, 2 kg of potatoes, 1 kg of salt, 1 litre of soybean oil, 2 soaps and 5 masks each as relief.
SM Shafiqul Islam, President of Gaurighona Bazar Committee, Masudur Rahman Masud, President of Mitali Social Services Organization, Solaiman Fakir, UP Member, Akhter Hossain and others were present as special guests there.
