Recommendation to recruit 541 non-cadres in 38th BCS

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has recommended the appointment of 541 first-class non-cadre posts out of those who did not get any cadre despite passing the 38th BCS examination.

Tuesday (October 20) in the afternoon, the chairman of PSC. A meeting of the commission chaired by Sohrab Hossain decided to release the results. The results were later published on the PSC's website.

Although they passed the written and oral examination of the 38th BCS due to shortage of posts, 6,163 did not get any recommendation for cadre posts. Of them, 5,032 applied to the commission for first-class non-cadre posts.

On the basis of their application, 111 people have been appointed as social service officers / equivalent in the social services department of the Ministry of Social Welfare, 62 in the soil resource development institute of the agriculture ministry and 33 as medical officers in the government employees' hospital in the public administration ministry. The PSC has recommended the appointment of a total of 541 persons in 53 categories, including 85 persons for the post of assistant engineer and 19 persons for the post of Drug Supervisor in the Department of Drug Administration, Department of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
