Rajshahi flyover to be opened on December 30

The construction of Taka 29.30 crore flyover on the railway crossing at Budhpara in Rajshahi city is nearing completion.

The work of construction of two guarders connecting the fly-over at Mohonpur point was inaugurated by the Mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation AHM Khairuzzaman Lition on Tuesday afternoon.

After inauguration of the work, RCC Mayor Liton visited the project site and watched the quality and progress of the work. He ordered to complete the works of construction of the fly-over by the end of this year,

Sources informed, the flyover would be opened for transport movement on December 30.

The function was attended, among others, by Chief Executive Officer of RCC Shaogatul Alam, Chief Engineer Ashraful Haque, Executive Engineer (Planning) Golam Morshed, representative of construction company Diennco's Managing Director Khorshed Alam during the visit.

As a part of East-West connecting road construction project, from Mohanpur at Rajshahi-Naogaon highway and Budhpara at Rajshahi-Natore Highway, the 324 meter of Taka 29.30 crore fly-over is being constructed with rams by RCC.
