Railways Minister Sujan leaves for India

Railways Minister M Nurul Islam Sujan left Dhaka for India on Saturday afternoon at the invitation of the Indian Railway Minister, reports BSS. He will be accompanied by an 8-member delegation comprising–the standing committee members of the Railways Ministry Asaduzzaman Noor and H M Ibrahim, the representatives of the Railway Ministry and Bangladesh Railways, a press release said.

During their visit, Bangladesh delegations are expected to witness the existing arrangements of train operations of the Indian Railways, including catering and ticketing system. The Railway Minister will hold a discussion with Indian government on several issues including the ongoing project which is being financed by the India and the quick delivery of Indian grants for ten broad gauge locomotives and ten metre gauge locomotives. Bangladesh delegation is expected to return home on August 8.
