Rapid Action Battalion on Saturday rescued an abducted minor within four hours of abduction from the city’s suburb Savar.
The elite force also arrested 11 members of the kidnapper gang with narcotic and lethal arms.
Talking to the Bangladesh Post, RAB-4 Director Md Mozammel Haque confirmed it on Sunday. Earlier on Saturday morning, a 12-year-old girl was abducted from Ashulia area. Getting secret information, a team of RAB-4 raided at Ariar Moor area under Ashulia Police Station at around 3:45 pm Saturday.
RAB personnel also seized 300 pieces of Yaba pills, 400 gram Ganza and two sharp knives from their possession. The arrested were identified as prime accused Md Milon Hossain Ridoy, Md Arif , Md Mehedi Hasan, Md Shohag Khan, Md Abul Hasnat, Md Shaon Islam, Md Azam Ali, Md Sumon Islam, Md Robin, Md Ahad and Md Razu. During the primary interrogation, the arrested kidnapers admitted that they were involved in various types of crimes. They all are addicts. Victim is a student of class six of a local Madrasa.
On her ways to Madrasa, the main accused Milon used to tease her. On the day of incident, the kidnapers kidnaped her when she reached near Sikder Moor area at around 11:45 am. They forcibly took her to an under-construction building and tortured her while taking drugs before her.
RAB-4 boss Md Mozammel Haque told that RAB will conduct drives to arrest the absconding criminals.
