VC of Patuakhali Science & Technology University (PUST) Professor Dr. Harun Or Rashid and his wife Konika Mahfuz, who are infected with coronavirus, were emergency transferred from Patuakhali to Dhaka on Tuesday by MI-171SH helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF).
According to ISPR, BAF has always been providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation assistance in aid to civil power to protect coronavirus and continuing various activities to affirm its commitment to meet all emergency needs in a professional manner. In line with this, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force provided necessary guidance to carry out the medical evacuation mission.
Professor Dr. Harun Or Rashid and his wife KonikaMahfuz, were emergency flown from Patuakhali to Dhaka by MI-171SH helicopter of BAF. Later, they were taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital, Dhaka for better treatment.
