The Public Engineering Day and IDEB 49th founding anniversary was observed in Jhenidah on Tuesday. IDEB Jhenidah district unit arranged the programme aiming at “basis of education by learning by doing”. A rally was brought from Jhenidah old DC Court premises that paraded the main roads in the town.
A discussion meeting was also held to mark the day. Deputy commissioner Saroj Kumar Nath, IDEB Jhenidah district unit president Yasin Ali, general secretary Munshi Mohammad Abu Jafar among others participated in the discussion.
The speakers said the country has been marching towards a developed one under the leadership of the prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.’ The engineers, especially, the diploma holders have been playing significant role in the development activities round the clock.
The diploma engineers should render more cordial services for the faster action challenging other countries in the world as desired by our father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
