The family of Syed Atiqur Rahman Atiq, Assistant Land Officer of Badla Union under Itna Upazila of Kishoreganj, held a press conference to find out whether his death was a road accident or a murder.
The press conference was held at the auditorium of Hotel Sheraton on Station Road in the district town on Sunday. The deceased's younger brother Syed Ahsanul Adil read out a written statement at the press conference.
The deceased’s family members said, “We want to believe that the administration will help us find out the truth about Atiq's death”.
The press conference was attended by victim's mother Khairunnesa, daughter Nitu, District Juba League leader and former District BCL Vice-President Kamrul Islam Ujjal, Aminul Islam Hamim, Shipon Karim and others.
