‘Prabin Samajik Kendra’, a social welfare centra for elderly people, was inaugurated at Duaria union under Lalpur upazila in Natore on Thursday.
Md Ehsak Ali, chairman of Lalpur Upazila Parishad, attended the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest. Manjur Rahman Bishwas, a former MP and chief execitive offrcer of New Era Foundation, project coordinator Mostak Ahmed Kiron and Shafiqul Islam were present at that time, among others.
The Ishwardi office of New Era Foundation, a private development organisation, has taken the initiave of the project with the help of Palli Karma Sohayak Foundation (PKSF).
