Post master general pays homage to Bangabandhu

 Torun Kanti Sikder, newly appointed Postmaster General of Postal Division of the South region, paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

He paid the homage by placing wreaths at the mazar of Bangabandhu at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Thursday morning.

After placing wreaths, he along with others joined in a special munajat, seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of Bangabandhu as well as other martyrs of August 15, 1975.

In the munajat, good health and longevity of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the worthy daughter of Bangabandhu, was also sought.

Later, the postmaster general signed the visitor’s book kept on the Bangabandhu mazar premises.

Sheikh Saiful Alam, Deputy postmaster general of Faridpur postal division, FM Waliuzzaman, Postmaster of Gopalganj Post Office, Inspector of Khulna south region and other officers and employees were present at that time.
