Media and Public Relations wing of Bangladesh Police helped a helpless housewife to get back her missing husband from the capital Dhaka.

Talking to the Bangladesh Post, Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Bangladesh Police on Monday confirmed it.

He said, a husband, hailing from Companiganj upazila in Noakhali district, engaged himself in extra-marital affairs with a lady after his wife had given birth to a baby.

The housewife also discovered her husband in an objectionable situation with the lady with whom he was maintaining extra-marital relations.

Later, the couple used to quarrel over the issue. At one stage, the husband left his wife and the baby for unknown place around one year ago.

The helpless housewife tried in various ways to trace her missing husband, but failed.

Her miseries had increased in absence of her husband. At one stage, she sought help from the police by communicating the Media and Public Relations wing through the official Facebook page of Bangladesh Police.

Getting complaint from the housewife, Media and Public Relations Wing of the Police Headquarters instructed Companiganj police to trace the missing husband. In the mean time, the housewife recently came to know that her husband was working in a private firm in the city’s Jatrabari area.

We later instructed Inspector Mazharul Islam, Officer-in Charge of Jatrabari Police Station to take necessary step, AIG Sohel Rana said.

As the housewife refused to file case against her husband and was ready to keep their conjugal life intact, police meditated to meet up the dispute between them.

They also gave counselling to resolve the ongoing disputes between the husband and the wife, said AIG Sohel Rana.

After getting back her missing husband, the housewife thanked Bangladesh Police for their outstanding help and cooperation to keep their conjugal life intact.
