Ekushey Padak winning poet Ashim Saha has been researching folk songs for a long time. Everyone knows this. Besides poetry, he has also written songs and composed melodies.
He recently did a new song about coronavirus. The title of the song is ‘Jibonta Jodi Aj Chole Jae’. The songs is based on Singer Uday Bandopadhyay’s melody, music and voice of this song has been published from the YouTube channel of lyricist Anurup Aich ‘Aich Song’.
In this context, the poet Ashim Saha said, “I wrote the song from the perception of lockdown. Uday Bandopadhyay himself sang the song by directing the melody and music.
‘Aich Song’ is getting a lot of praise after releasing this song from their YouTube channel. It feels good to get everyone’s praise.”
