Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a press conference tomorrow to brief media about the outcomes of her five-day official visit to China.

The press conference will be held at PM's official residence Ganobhaban at 4pm, Prime Minister's Office sources said.

The prime minister was on a official visit to China at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.

During her visit, Sheikh Hasina attended the annual meeting of World Economic Forum (WEF) in Dalian on July 2.

She talked to Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on July 4 and 5 respectively.

The PM also held meeting with China’s ruling party Communist Party of China (CPC) on Friday. During the meeting, CPC Chief Song Tao assured her of pursuing Myanmar to resolve the Rohingya crisis.

The CPC assurance came a day after Li Keqiang acknowledged the issue to be a major crisis saying ‘there is no doubt that it’s a big problem for Bangladesh, which should be resolved fast’.

During her visit, Bangladesh and China signed nine agreements, including two loans, for further strengthening cooperation on power, water resources, culture and tourism sectors.

Sheikh Hasina went to China on July 1.
