Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday paid rich tributes to the martyrs of Azerbaijan, reports BSS.
The prime minister paid the homage by placing a wreath at the monument built in memory of the martyrs here this afternoon. After placing the wreath, Sheikh Hasina stood in solemn silence for some time as a mark of profound respect to the martyrs.
State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, Foreign Secretary Md Shahidul Haque and other entourage members of the prime minister were present on the occasion.
The prime minister is now in Azerbaijan capital of Baku to join the 18th NAM Summit.
