Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep grief over the death of Majeda Begum, mother of Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim.
In a condolence message on Tuesday (September 22nd), Sheikh Hasina prayed for the forgiveness of Majeda Begum’s soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
Majeda Begum, mother of Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, died at the Khulna City Medical College Hospital on Monday (September 21st) at around 12 midnight.
Majeda Begum was 85 years old at the time of her death. In her personal life, Majeda Begum was a socially conscious and religious housewife. She is survived by four sons, a daughter, relatives and numerous admirers.
She is scheduled to be buried at the family graveyard after Janazah at Tarabunia village in Matibhanga union of Nazirpur upazila around 10am on Tuesday.
