‘Pakistan’s collaborators want to distort history of Liberation War’

Collaborators of Pakistan want to erase the history of Liberation War and gruesome genocide done by Pakistani Military and the Rajakars in the Liberation War in 1971. The vested quarter want to distort the history of Bangladesh to achieve a certain political goal. 

Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzaque made the remarks after laying the foundation stone of ‘Bangabandhu and Liberation War Memorial’ in Tangail on Monday. Abdur Razzaque said, “The young generation must know about the glorious history and the contributions of the freedom fighters in our Liberation War. Such memorials and museum will be the inspiration for keeping the spirit of our Liberation War alive forever. This will also keep the memory of genocide and war intact.”  The Minister also said, “Our Liberation War is an epic and the great hero of this epic is Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.” 

“Bangabandhu was the main organiser of all the movements from the Language Movement to the Liberation War movement. He is the bearer and carrier of the spirit of freedom and liberation war. He inspired 70 million people to fight for the freedom. He achieved independence through a war of liberation by organising seven crore unarmed Bengalees, he added. 

The program was chaired by Tangail Deputy Commissioner Ataul Gani and Zila Parishad chairman Fazlur Rahman Khan Faruk was present as the special guest.

Agriculture Minister later joined the mass reception as Fazlur Rahman Khan Faruk was awarded Ekushe Padak-2021.
