Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained a person along with 3 KGs cannabis (Ganja) during a drive at Katia Sarkar Para area in the city of Satkhira on Thursday.
The detainee was identified as Mohammad Lavlu Baddi, 32. He is the son of Montaz Baddi hailed from Baida Kazipara area under Sadar upazila.
RAB Satkhira CPC-1 Deputy director Major Md. Shamim Sarkar said that on the basis of secret news, the operation was carried out at around 11:30 am on Thursday. At that time, Lavlu was detained with 3 kgs of cannabis.
