The form fill-up procedure of the National University (NU) students, to attend Honors second year examination, will start online from June 24, and will continue till August 01, next month.
NU published a circular regarding this, signed by the Examination Controller Badruzzaman on its website on Tuesday.
As per the directive, regular students of 2018-2019 academic year, irregular and grade improvement seekers of 2017-2018, 2016-2017, 2015-2016 academic sessions and 2013-2014 (4th year Promoted), 2014-2015 (3rd year Promoted) as well as 2015-2016 (2nd year promoted) students will be able to participate in the Honors 2nd year examination of 2020 only in the course with F grade.
Those registered in the 2018-19 academic year and promoted by participating in the first year examination of 2019 will take part in the second year examination as regular candidates, as per the syllabus and revised regulations of the academic year 2013-14.
Students who fail will not have to take the theoretical test of the course passed in the previous year. However, only those who participated in the examination for the first time in the second year in 2019 and got C or D grade will be given the opportunity to appear for the examination.
On the other hand, the students of 2017-18 session who participated in the 2019 Honors second year examination and got promotion in the 3rd year, will be able to participate only in courses with grade C or D and seek for grade improvement.
