Laser Vision has released a music video of one of the most popular folk bands, Nokshi Katha. Nokshi Katha has been singing the song at various stages of the country after making it last year. This song was released on Thursday (February 27), in the official YouTube channel of Laser Vision.

Nokshi Katha vocal Sajed Fatemi says that the poet Abdul Hakim has written a unique piece about the anti-Bengali language people—

Je Shobe Bongete Jonme Hingshe Bangobani/Sheshab Kahare Janmo Nirnoy Na Jani/Deshi Bhasha Bidya Jhar Mon Na Joyay/Nij Desh Tyagi Keno Bideshe Na jay.

The song is based on this stanza by Abdul Hakim.

Sajde Fatemi says, "Now we ourselves are damaging the Bengali language. I'm just talking about Bangla. Bangla is out mother tongue. But hwo many of us are using this language properly?”

In this song of Nokshi Katha, the cause of the current decay of Bengali language has been show as a problem that needs solving.

The present lineup of the band is Saejde Fatemiv (band leader and vocal), JR Sumon (acoustic guitar, rabab and two stringer), Bulbul Saha (percussions), Romel Hassan (melodica and accordian) and Shams (bass guitar).
