The most talked-about film of this year is ‘No Dorai’. Due to censor board's cut and legal notices the film is getting much publicity. Despite the criticisms, the film has received much praise as well. Though it was not released in many theaters, it was screened in a special arrangement.

On December 6th, a special screening was organized at Cox's Bazar beach. This is the first ever 'Beach Premiere' of a film in Bangladesh. On the evening of December 6th, ‘No Dorai’ was shown to local and foreign guests in front of the Sayeman Beach Resort in Cox's Bazar.

The screening was attended by the film's producer, director, actors and technicians. Local surfers were also invited to the premiere. They were given special gifts along with T-shirts. After the exhibition, a barbecue party was organized for the guests.

Producer Mahbub Rahman Ruhel said, ‘From the beginning, I have tried to give the audience something new. We were trying to give a unique presentation of everything, including the story of the film, the style of filmmaking, the cinematography. Besides presenting the story of a brave woman, I wanted to present Cox's Bazaar on the screen attractively. The Beach Premiere is also a part of this innovative effort. Since the release of the film, the response I have received from the audience has meant a lot to me’.

Notably, the first full-length film about surfing, 'No Dourai' was released on November 29. The film is directed by Tanim Rahman. Sariful Razz and Sunerah Binte Kamal starred in the main roles. 90 percent of the film’s scenes were shot in Cox's Bazar. The film was made in the dialect of Chattogram.
