Nasim urges BNP to supplement govt’s dev activities

BNP is on the wrong track of committing mistakes one after another, and the party should remain away from its path of wrong-doings and supplement the government’s development endeavours instead, said Awami League Presidium Member Mohammed Nasim, reports BSS. Reminding the BNP and its followers of the harm that had to be endured by it due to its wrong decision of not participating in the 2014 general election, he said adherence to the motto of positive politics always yields benefits both for the party and the people.

The senior Awami League leader reiterated her call to the BNP to cooperate with the government for keeping up its current development spree to do good for the people saying no to all ill activities. Nasim, also a former minister, said this while inaugurating a newly-built mosque ‘Khorshed Alam Smriti Jame Masjid’ at Birahimpur under Sujanagar upazila in the district.

The AL leader urged the BNP to criticize the government in parliament deftly focusing on its mistakes, if any. Nasim said the BNP had announced to boycott the 2018 election but the party subsequently joined the election race. In the similar fashion, the party declared that they would not join the parliament but later they joined, he added. None is obstructing the BNP to play their role in parliament, he continued. Highlighting different development works of the government, Nasim said the country has been witnessing unprecedented development in all sectors.
