Mymensingh edn board chairman opens tree plantation prog

The Chairman of the Mymensingh Education Board Prof. D. Gazi Hasan Kamal inaugurated the tree plantation programme at Babar Rabyea ICT School and College in Muktagacha upazila in Mymensingh. The programme was organised for marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, reports BSS. 

State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid MP is the founder of the college. On the occasion a discussion meeting was held at the premises of the college with the Principal of the college Md, Nazrul Islam Choudhury in the chair. Prof. Sarwar Jahan Siddiquee Deputy Director (DD) (Accounts) of the Board, Kamal Hossen Deputy Controller of the examination, Vice President of Mymensingh Press club A .Z M Imam uddin Mukta and PS to the Chairman Abdul Haque were present. Chairman Kamal stressed the need for planting more tree for our existence as wells to save our lives from the environmental degradation and maintaining ecological balance.

He urged all specially the teachers, students and guardians to plant at least two saplings of fruit bearing and herbal tree in their home stead.
