Munshiganj district Awami League has organized a press conference to protest the false propaganda against district AL president and general secretary. The press conference was held at Munshiganj Press Club on Friday.
District AL vice president Nurul Alam Chowdhury, Sabzal, general secretary Alhaj Sheikh Lutfar Rahman, joint general secretary advocate Sohana Tahmina, organizational secretary Kamal Uddin Ahmed were present at the protest and press conference.
It was revealed at press conference that on November 6, some people who are mentioned in front of the National Press Club, to have been allegedly involved, are not affiliated with AL in Munshiganj area. They are alleged to sell the post of AL for alleged money which is completely false and fabricated. Their hateful and cowardly speech, which has been circulated on various online portals and social media Face book, had conspired to destroy the image of the Munshiganj AL.
Munshiganj district is propagating against AL through an online campaign called Amar Vikrampur. None of the people who are seen in the picture of the alleged human bond is of Munshiganj. In addition, the people who are named in the news, such as Al-Amin, Shyamul, Hassan, are not affiliated with Munshiganj district AL at all.
The press conference also said that a committee would be formed through the conference at grass root level of Bangladesh AL.
