Chief Representative in Dhaka Office of Mitsubishi UFJ Bank Ltd. (MUFG), Japan Hideaki Kojima called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman on Wednesday at the latter’s office of the university.
During the meeting they discussed bi-lateral issues especially on-going MUFG Scholarship Program for Dhaka University students. Hideaki Kojima informed DU VC that every year MUFG gives scholarship to 30 meritorious students of Dhaka University. In continuation of this scholarship program MUFG has a plan to distribute scholarships among DU students at a function to be held on January 30, 2020 at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman thanked Hideaki Kojima for his visit to DU and providing scholarship to DU students every year.
