A minor girl was killed after being bitten by a venomous snake at Ibrahimpur village under Damurhuda upazila in Chuadanga on Sunday morning, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Masuma Khatun, daughter of Abdul Malek and a class two student of Ibrahimpur Govt Primary school here.
Local people said a poisonous snake bit Masuma when she was asleep at her house early this morning. She was taken to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital, where the duty doctor declared her dead.
Officer-in-Charge of Damurhuda Model Thana Sukumar Biswas confirmed the incident.
