After a long time, popular actress Bidya Sinha Saha Mim paired up with versatile actor Mosharraf Karim for a telefiction drama titled ‘Moner Manush’, directed by Sanjoy Somadder.
On Wednesday May 11, the director shared the news to the media. After almost eight years, Mim and Mosharraf have acted together again for a telefiction drama which will be aired on the Swadesh Entertainment YouTube channel on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
About the drama director Sanjoy Somadder said, ‘Mosharraf will be playing the character of Anwar who lives abroad and Mim will be seen playing the role of his wife Sonia who studies in town. The story shows such dramatic turns of events, witnessed by Anwar after returning to his homeland.’
Regarding this context Mim said, 'The story has drawn me for this character I’ve played many roles in my career but never worked in such a character before. The character is completely different and the shooting ended before Eid-ul-Fitr. Earlier, I have worked with Mosharraf bhaia in several plays including ‘Prem Pagol ','Minus E Plus E Minus’, 'Harano Sur' and 'Kono Ek Premik' among others.’ After about eight years again I’ve worked with Mosharraf bhaia and I must say I can learn a lot by working with him, she added.
For six years, Sanjoy has been planning to work with Mim, although he was praised for his work with Mosharraf Karim in teledrama titled ‘Je Sohore Taka Ore’ and web film 'Omanush'. This is his first work with Mim.
Sanjoy on working with Mim said, “The biggest quality of Mim is that she’s punctual, works very hard and her desire for working and giving effort to make her work best has fascinated me. Moreover, I am happy working with Mim after a long time. Overall, I enjoyed filming this tele-fiction," he added.
On the work front, Mim took a break from small screen and got busy doing movies which are awaiting release. In the meantime, she returned to the small screen for Eid special dramas and presented three plays last Eid and currently packed with a tight schedule for her upcoming projects.
It is learnt that the actress will be seen in a short film directed by Vicky Jahed this coming Eid.
