Met office predicts dry weather

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Thursday predicts dry weather at many places over the country in 24 hours as of 9 am, reports BSS.

“Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky at most places over the country while light rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at one or two places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions in next 24 hours commencing at 9 am on Thursday,” said a met office release here this morning.

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may fall slightly over the country during the period, the release added. The maximum temperature in the country was recorded 33.5 degrees Celsius yesterday at Cox’s Bazar in Chattogram division and minimum temperature was 15.2 degrees Celsius on Thursday at Tetulia in Rangpur division. The sun sets at 5:16 pm on Thursday and rises at 6:09 am on Friday in the capital city.
