The met office on Sunday predicted light rains or drizzles to occur in different regions of the country though the weather may remain dry in most other parts, reports BSS. “Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and it may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” said a Met office bulletin.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country from late night till morning, added the bulletin. However, night temperature may fall by 1-2 degree Celsius and day temperature may fall slightly over the country. As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours, the bulletin predicted night temperature may fall further.

The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded 30.4 degree Celsius in Khepupara of Barishal, while Sunday’s minimum temperature was 12.0 degree Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet. The sun sets at 5:35 pm on Sunday and rises at 6:43 am today (Monday) in the capital.
